Become our next Shipping Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona! This role is crucial for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and verifying that all packages meet shipping requirements. Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount. This position plays a vital part in our logistics chain, ensuring that our products reach customers on time and in perfect condition. You'll work closely with our warehouse team and carriers to streamline the shipping process. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verify shipment details against customer orders for accuracy.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect outgoing packages to ensure they are properly sealed, labeled, and meet all shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Assist with other logistics and warehouse duties as needed.
Previous experience as a shipping clerk or in a similar administrative/warehouse role is preferred. Strong understanding of shipping procedures and documentation. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with shipping software and logistics platforms is a plus. Must be able to perform some lifting of packages up to 30 lbs. A dedication to accuracy and safety is essential. High school diploma or GED required.
