We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy logistics center in Seattle, Washington. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility. This position requires certified forklift operation skills, a keen understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and the ability to handle materials safely and effectively, including lifting requirements as dictated by the load. You will be responsible for performing pre-operation checks on your forklift and adhering to all operational procedures. A commitment to safety is non-negotiable; you must rigorously follow all company safety guidelines and consistently use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are looking for experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals who can work independently and as part of a team. A valid forklift certification is required. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move palletized loads within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper system use.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
