Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Use material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Identify and label materials, then sort and place them in designated storage areas.
- Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
- Perform other material handling tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and ability to follow instructions precisely.
