We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our busy logistics hub in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and then carefully packing them for shipment to our valued customers. You will utilize various warehouse equipment, including RF scanners, to locate products and ensure order accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for safe transit.
- Select appropriate packaging materials based on product type and shipping requirements.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage completed orders for outbound shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity for standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Willingness to consistently wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
