Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately document all incoming inventory, updating the warehouse management system.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Stage received goods for put-away or immediate use.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Understand and safely execute tasks involving lifting of goods up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or inventory role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
