Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, supervising staff, optimizing workflow, and upholding high standards of safety and productivity. Your leadership skills and deep understanding of logistics operations will be critical to driving success and continuous improvement within our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through effective cycle counting and stocktaking processes.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
  • Handle employee relations, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Ability to manage staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Capacity for physical tasks, including occasional Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
