Are you an energetic individual with a knack for accuracy? We're looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our bustling warehouse facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are precisely selected and prepared for dispatch. You will be instrumental in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret picking lists or digital orders.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from various warehouse locations.
- Use hand-held scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
- Package items appropriately for safe transport, labeling correctly.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking and reporting.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Uphold stringent safety standards, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions focused on safety and efficiency.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable operating basic warehouse equipment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
