We are seeking a reliable and efficient Picker/Packer to join our large-scale logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately gathering products for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. Your daily tasks will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying specific items based on order details, and then meticulously packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all team members are required to strictly follow safety procedures and utilize the necessary PPE. The successful candidate will be physically capable of performing tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing for long durations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from inventory based on order specifications.
- Perform quality checks on items to ensure they meet standards.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets in our logistics operations.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
