We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our growing warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your efficiency and attention to detail are critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth flow of our Logistics operations. This position demands physical dexterity, a keen eye for accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the success of our distribution efforts. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips before sealing and labeling packages.
- Apply shipping labels correctly and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with Safety standards.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support overall Logistics efficiency by completing tasks promptly and accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a demanding environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capability for frequent Lifting and carrying of items.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow all Safety guidelines.
