Job Description

The Dealer Operations Team is seeking a well‑rounded knowledge specialist to join our growing, fast‑paced, and challenging environment and contribute to growing our Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) support to advisors and clients. As a Bilingual ETF Consultant you’ll have a specialized role with a focus on back‑office functionality of reconciliation and bookkeeping of ETFs with exposure to liquid alternatives, mutual, and segregated funds and more. Filling the role of a knowledge specialist to support project and technological advances to better serve our clients.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with our ETF custodian and internal teams to gain a deep knowledge of end‑to‑end transactions
  • Reconcile external and internal transfers in kind
  • Take ownership to resolve complex cases
  • Collaborate with internal teams on testing and deploying system upgrades and new technologies
  • Facilitate team training for ETF‑related processes

What do you need to succeed?

  • Specialized knowledge of ETF reconciliation and bookkeeping through OTP and Univeris platforms
  • Excellent customer‑service skills with a focus on putting the client first
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a willingness to learn and apply new methods and tools
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Self‑motivated and self‑directed, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • University/College diploma
  • Understanding of mutual, segregated, and exchange‑traded funds
  • Strong prioritization and time‑management skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies
  • Interest in understanding how the business works and applying detailed business information to your work
  • Ability to remain calm and focused despite disruptions or obstacles
  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) required for frequent interactions with English and French‑speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide

Assets

  • Completion of Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) Operations, Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) courses mandatory
  • Experience with systems such as Univeris, FundServ, ATON/TMX, Customer Service Work Bench (CSW)

Salary Range 58,000 – 93,000
