Title: Product & Data Strategy Lead – Consent & Privacy

Overview
We are looking for a senior Product & Data Strategy leader to own how fan data consent and privacy are managed across digital, marketing, and data platforms for either a leading U.S. sports league / Gaming / Retail / Media / Entertaintment domain. This role ensures fan data is used responsibly, legally, and effectively to support personalized fan experiences.
You will define the consent and privacy product vision, connect data across platforms, and partner with Legal, Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to build a privacy-first data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for consent and privacy data management
- Ensure fan data usage complies with privacy regulations (GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.)
- Oversee integration of consent data across CRM, marketing, and data platforms
- Partner with Legal, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into data solutions
- Establish governance standards for consent data quality, access, and usage
- Guide teams on privacy-first analytics and personalization
- Lead Agile delivery and ensure on-time execution of initiatives
- Act as a subject-matter expert on consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust)
Required Experience
- 7+ years in product management, data strategy, or marketing data leadership
- Hands-on experience with consent management platforms (OneTrust or similar)
- Strong understanding of CRM, CDP, marketing platforms, and cloud data ecosystems
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile environments
Nice to Have
- Sports, media, entertainment, or large consumer brand experience
- Background in privacy-driven personalization or marketing technology
