Job Description
We are seeking experienced Journeyperson Electricians to join our team on various construction and maintenance projects. We can offer a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) opportunity with rotational schedules (rotation schedule to be discussed).
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and remote construction settings. Work will comply with all relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, fixtures, panels, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with other trades and project teams on site.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal/Interprovincial preferred)
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician.
- Commercial and industrial experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to work in remote/Northern sites with challenging weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
