Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI technologist produces diagnostic quality images using MRI system and related equipment. The technologist must provide quality patient care while consistently adhering to the Departmental and Medical Center policies and procedures.
What you will do in this role:
- Maintains a good working relationship with all staff members.
- Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule as required. (i.e. alternate shifts, call rotation, etc.)
- Demonstrates initiative (Can work independent without need of constant supervision or direction.)
- Responsible (Completes assigned tasks, duties, etc.)
- Punctual (Arrives at work on time on a consistent basis.)
- Dependable
- Observes universal precautions and other health and safety rules of the department as well as those of the Medical Center.
- Participates in continuing education essential the field and for the betterment of the patient.
- Demonstrates good patient care skills.
- Communicates in a positive compassionate manor to all age groups.
- Able to modify job duties as necessary.
- Appropriately assesses the patient’s pain and involves the patient in effective management of the pain using age appropriate interventions.
- Maintain HIPPA compliance.
- Maintain Imaging QA requirements. (
