Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Industrial Controls Engineer with a focus on system design for custom machinery projects. This role offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop skills in electrical schematics, hardware selection, and control system architecture. Ideal for recent graduates eager to grow in industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing control system architectures for custom machinery.
Support hardware selection and creation of electrical schematics.
Help prepare documentation including wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews and integration tasks.
Participate in installation and commissioning under supervision.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field (or in progress) or experience in related field.
Basic understanding of electrical design principles.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or willingness to learn.
Strong interest in industrial automation and system design.
Travel:
30% - 50%
Preferred Skills
Exposure to industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNET).
Coursework or internship experience in control systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
