We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our distribution center and contributes significantly to our logistics network. You will perform a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory accurately.
- Sort, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the correct use of PPE.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
