As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play an essential role in making sure our healthcare AI solutions work reliably and securely on the Azure cloud-based infrastructure.
Client has a hybrid office arrangement. You will be required to come into the office in downtown Toronto (walking distance from Bay Station) once a week, on Wednesdays.
What You'll Do:
• Design and implement stable Azure-based infrastructure for our services
• Create automation tools for deployment and system monitoring
• Work with development and data science teams to improve delivery processes
• Apply security standards and compliance requirements
• Resolve complex technical issues to maintain reliable system operation
• Establish effective backup and recovery procedures
• Research and integrate useful technologies to improve our platform
• Communicate with healthcare clients to support their technical needs
• Share on-call responsibilities for system support
What You'll Need:
• 5+ years of relevant Cloud or DevOps experience
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). Azure experience is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Istio service mesh and Helm
• Ability to write effective Python and Bash scripts
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Experience implementing continuous integration with GitHub Actions
• Ability to troubleshooting and resolve complex issues
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Datadog
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
Bonus Qualifications:
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2)
• Background supporting machine learning applications in production
• Previous work in healthcare technology
