As an Engineering Manager in Core Ads Growth, you will lead a team of experienced product and ML engineers focused on building and scaling systems that help us provide users with the best ads experience while driving XXXM$ a year in impact. We are looking for Software Engineering Managers with technical experience and experience of managing engineers in a dynamic environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction, driving execution, fostering efficiency and collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the experience of our users across the globe.
Required Skills:
Software Engineering Manager - EMEA - M1 Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team of generalist and ML software engineers
2. Set clear expectations and create work environment based on accountability
3. Mentor and support engineers' growth and success, help them to find and focus on their strengths
4. Champion engineering and operational efficiency, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement
5. Work effectively with Cross Functional roles to define and execute product strategy and roadmaps
7. Proven track record of supporting engineering teams
8. Experience in partnering with product managers and delivering user-centric solutions
9. Problem solving skills and background in coding
10. Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams
11. Knowledge of growing teams and/or organisations
12. BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)
