Join our growing logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to contribute to our distribution center operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that our products move efficiently and accurately through the warehouse. We are committed to a safe working environment and require strict adherence to safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position requires physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick products from shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists or shipping labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management is beneficial.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
