Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing warehouse operations within our logistics network. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing improvements to inventory management processes. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mind, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper handling of inventory, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar logistics role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety procedures and the consistent use of appropriate PPE.
