Responsibilities:
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse to designated storage or staging areas.
- Organize and stack inventory in an orderly manner.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order and safety compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Support overall logistics operations through efficient material handling.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse capacity is highly desirable.
- Forklift certification is a significant advantage.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Commitment to excellent logistics execution.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
