Job Summary:
Join our dedicated logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Material Handler. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse to designated storage or staging areas.
  • Organize and stack inventory in an orderly manner.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order and safety compliance.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Support overall logistics operations through efficient material handling.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse capacity is highly desirable.
  • Forklift certification is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Commitment to excellent logistics execution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
