About
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our physical therapy team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outpatient orthopedics, with experience in treating all acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. This role involves comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized care plans, providing patient education, and implementing effective treatment strategies to enhance patient recovery and mobility. No specialties required, but encouraged. More importantly, the motivation to continue to learn and expand your knowledge base and skill. A friendly, kind therapist is key to a successful experience here. This job is for someone looking for flexibility in their daily schedule.
Hours are 7-11am daily, with opportunity to expand to more if desired. 20-35 available hours. Health insurance stipend offered to offset monthly health insurance premium. You'll be treating patients in a setting where you truly enjoy your job and work day.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
* Implement therapeutic interventions for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards in a timely manner.
* Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
* Apply specialized techniques such as graston, dry needling or ART based on training and certification as needed.
* Think outside the box and be willing to go above and beyond for patients.
*Requirements*
* Valid physical therapy license in the Massachusetts.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to physical therapy practice.
* Experience in outpatient clinics.
* The ability to create effective care plans tailored to individual to avoid re-injury and inspire a healthy lifestyle.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and fellow physical therapists.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating strong independent decision-making skills. Bring your unique skills, but work together with those skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $44.00 - $48.00 per hour
