We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide exceptional therapeutic massage services in a professional and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, and experience in various massage techniques. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering effective therapies aimed at pain relief and overall wellness. The Massage Therapist will play a vital role in enhancing clients' health and relaxation through expert touch and compassionate service.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific needs and develop customized massage treatments
* Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to alleviate pain and promote relaxation
* Educate patients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness
* Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans in compliance with medical standards
* Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients at all times
* Uphold all licensing requirements, safety protocols, and health regulations within the spa or medical setting
* Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advancements in massage therapy and occupational health
*Skills*
* Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients
* Expertise in patient assessment to determine appropriate therapy approaches
* Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
* Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
* Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention
* Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
* Experience with medical spa environments or occupational health settings is preferred but not required

Pay: $39.40 - $47.45 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
