This is a unique opportunity to join a growing company from the ground up. From day one, you'll gain hands-on experience in service delivery, troubleshooting, and testing. You'll travel across the Metro Vancouver area, meet new people, and develop valuable technical skills along the way. We're looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused, and motivated individual with strong communication skills to ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience from first interaction to final installation. At Beanfield, we've been delivering world-class service for over 35 years; think 5-star hotel standards in telecom. What you'll be doing:

  • Drive to various customer sites to perform installations
  • Install all associated fibre optic equipment for Residential & Commercial Customers (Internet, VoIP, IPTV)
  • Install, test, troubleshoot and repair as required to Beanfield standards
  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service and educating customers on products and services
  • Ensure the vehicle, test equipment, and tools are maintained in good working condition
  • Collect "as builds" information in a timely manner
  • Administrative duties such as updating tickets, and reports with detailed, accurate information
  • All other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • A valid BC Drivers License (N or above) is a must-have for the role
  • Maintain a high standard of quality while following the employer's safety standards and policies
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management skills;
  • Strong analytical skills to recognize and identify potential problems
  • Must be able to work shift work.
