Position Overview

We are potentially hiring for an Electrical Assembler to support production needs in the
Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
. This role involves assembling and wiring electrical components and systems by following technical documentation and schematics. Successful candidates demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, are comfortable using hand and power tools, and consistently support high-quality manufacturing standards.

Role Summary

Assemble, inspect, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies used in traffic signal control equipment. Accurately complete work orders and perform tasks based on production drawings and verbal instructions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build and wire electrical components and sub-assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions
  • Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment
  • Fabricate, modify, or repair parts using shop tools and equipment
  • Meet production schedules and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Track and replenish inventory levels as required
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical assembly issues
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods during the workday
  • Capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Frequent use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and powered equipment

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience (electrical training is an asset)
  • Minimum two years of experience in assembly, machine operation, or a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, technical drawings, and technical data sheets
