Nature Of The Work And General Responsibilities
The substitute teacher will be responsible for teaching English in accordance with Alberta's curriculum and for supervising groups as directed by the school administration.

Job Requirements

• Alberta teaching certification or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience teaching elementary and high school students.
• Knowledge of the Alberta Education curriculum.
• A positive, responsible, and independent attitude.
• Management and technology skills;
• Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written.
• Excellent knowledge of educational needs in minority settings.
• Appreciation of learner diversity;
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions regarding working with children.
