About
As Shift Miller, you will be responsible for the efficient daily operation of the milling department to ensure optimized performance. This role oversees milling processes, coordinates maintenance activities, troubleshoots technical issues, ensures product quality, and supports safe, compliant, and continuous operations.
What You'll DoSupervise the safe and efficient operation of the milling department
Adjust, maintain, and repair milling equipment following ADM Operational Milling Standards
Train, mentor, and develop milling staff
Optimize mill yields, moisture levels, capacity, and product quality
Maintain records and reports per ADM policies and procedures
Assist in other departments as business needs arise
Follow the Management Operating System to achieve established production goals
Maintain mill sanitation at BRC-certified levels in accordance with ADM Food Safety policies
Develop procedures to reduce EDT levels across all mills
Perform all other duties as required
Strong leadership, problem-solving, self-motivation, and organizational skills
Ability to ensure and promote a safe, productive work environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Confident and courteous communication style with strong leadership presence
Ability to hear, speak clearly, read, comprehend, and communicate effectively
Degree in a related field such as Milling Science and/or 5+ years of hands-on milling experience
Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference check
Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces, and tolerate extreme temperatures
Ability to work shift schedules
Compliance with all local/provincial safety and EHS legislation and ADM requirements
