Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef who is passionate about Mediterranean cuisine and has a proven track record in menu and brand creation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culinary identity of our restaurant from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Creation: Develop a diverse, seasonally inspired menu that captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine

while incorporating American influences.

Brand Development: Collaborate with ownership and management to create a cohesive brand identity, ensuring that the culinary vision aligns with the restaurant's mission and values.

Staff Training & Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and professional growth.

Execution & Quality Control: Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation, maintaining consistency and excellence in all dishes served.

Cost Management: Oversee food cost control, inventory management, and vendor relationships to maintain profitability without compromising quality.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role, preferably in Mediterranean or related cuisine.

Proven experience in menu design and execution, with a strong portfolio showcasing work.
