We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using a picking device and prepare them for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to safety and productivity. You will be expected to consistently meet performance targets and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product accuracy against order details.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Meet productivity goals and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety is essential.
