Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. Responsibilities:
  • Unload and receive incoming materials, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to shipping manifests.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory levels and any discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting, typically up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
