We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in Indianapolis, Indiana! This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking inventory, and preparing materials for production or shipment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all team members are required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently. This position requires the ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and can work effectively within a team. Your contribution is essential to our Logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Stage materials for production lines or outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
