Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Columbus, Ohio? Our warehouse is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to manage the flow of materials. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are moved efficiently and safely throughout the facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from production areas, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. We value a strong commitment to Safety and require all employees to utilize the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with forklifts and other heavy machinery is highly desirable. This position involves frequent Lifting of materials, often exceeding 50 pounds. Understanding the principles of Logistics and supply chain management will be an advantage. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, can work independently or as part of a team, and have a solid work ethic. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace is also a key responsibility. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock materials in designated storage areas.
- Stage materials for production or shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
