About
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance on warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, as well as identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues. You will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This role demands a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to quality. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to implement preventive maintenance schedules and keep accurate records of all repair and maintenance activities. A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills are essential. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves moderate to heavy Lifting, so physical stamina is important. The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics setting and is dedicated to upholding high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve significant Lifting.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
