In this crucial role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment to and from designated areas.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and Safety.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Follow proper Lifting techniques when not operating a forklift.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain certifications and improve skills in logistics and Safety.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Ability to perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance. Strong understanding of material handling and logistics. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A dedicated focus on Safety is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
