Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick materials for orders using RF scanners or pick lists, verifying quantities and item numbers.
- Pack materials securely for shipment, following all packing guidelines.
- Operate manual and powered equipment for material movement, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, practicing good housekeeping.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and material handling.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of using PPE.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
