We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. This position offers a stable work environment and opportunities for growth within our company. You will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to, receiving incoming shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for outgoing delivery. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong work ethic. Familiarity with warehouse operations and a basic understanding of inventory management principles are beneficial. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the smooth flow of inventory through the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be adept at problem-solving. Regular physical activity is involved, including significant lifting. Adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately store inventory in designated locations using proper handling techniques.
- Pick items from shelves according to order lists, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Understand and follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and safety.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
