We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Associate for our facility in Austin, Texas. This role is essential to the daily operations of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, order fulfillment, and the overall smooth flow of goods. The Warehouse Associate will handle a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, stocking, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your dedication and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting our logistics goals. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Organize and maintain inventory on shelves and in designated areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workspace, free from hazards.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational demands and logistics targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and properly using PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
