This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from receiving to shipping. You will be involved in picking, packing, sorting, and stocking inventory, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting our logistics goals. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are key attributes for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Sort and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
