Seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves or designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or general labor role is advantageous. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols, including PPE usage. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
