Become an essential part of our distribution network as an Order Picker in Omaha, Nebraska! This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items using RF scanners and pick lists. Accuracy in picking and verifying items against order details is key to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. After picking, you will prepare the items for the next stage of the logistics process. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment. You will receive thorough training on proper lifting techniques, safe movement through the warehouse, and the essential use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and good stamina. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse storage locations according to order requirements, using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and meet established performance targets.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
