We are seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to become an integral part of our Indianapolis, Indiana logistics team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing the inflow of goods into our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. Your duties will include unloading trucks, verifying contents against shipping documents, inspecting for damages, and accurately recording all incoming inventory into our system. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and you will receive comprehensive training on proper lifting techniques and the required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, a methodical approach to tasks, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus, but we are open to training motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a dedication to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inbound freight from carriers.
- Verify quantities and item descriptions against purchase orders and packing lists.
