About
We have an immediate opening for a skilled Forklift Operator in our busy Dallas, Texas distribution center. If you are experienced, safety-conscious, and proficient in operating various types of forklifts, we want to hear from you! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse. Your expertise is critical to our logistics flow, ensuring that products are handled properly from receipt to shipment, contributing to operational excellence and timely order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trailers and containers with precision and care.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping preparation when required.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proven ability to operate multiple types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and logistics best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and committed to maintaining high productivity standards.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
