Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing shipments.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials.
- Accurately record shipment data into the inventory system.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and procedures.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
