About
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Material Handler for our Phoenix, Arizona facility. This position is key to the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials using various equipment. A focus on accuracy, efficiency, and above all, safety , is essential. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage areas.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and workspaces are clear.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE .
- Good stamina and physical condition.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse logistics .
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
