We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing all outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to shipping regulations. Your contribution is key to maintaining our high standards for timely and correct order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outbound shipments, verifying contents against order forms.
- Create shipping labels and ensure proper documentation is attached to each package.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers to schedule pickups and manage delivery timelines.
- Conduct quality checks on packages to ensure they are securely sealed and protected for transit.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and update inventory management systems with shipment details.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and external carriers to resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure the shipping area remains clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including some Lifting, as needed to support overall logistics operations.
