Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. You will be responsible for receiving, warehousing, and distributing materials and products throughout the facility. This includes picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as stocking incoming goods. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely are essential. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow and meet production targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to workplace safety and be proficient in using various material handling equipment. Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus. We provide a comprehensive training program to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and extensive lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.   • Receive and unload incoming materials and compare paperwork for discrepancies.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
  • Pick orders by unit or case, ensuring accuracy.
  • Pack and prepare products for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
