Join our vibrant team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to our logistics chain, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. A strong commitment to workplace safety , including the correct use of PPE , is a fundamental requirement. We value a proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Retrieve items from storage to fulfill customer orders (picking).
- Package products securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including some manual lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics .
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE .
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
