Are you an experienced Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity in Orlando, Florida? We have an exciting opening for a skilled professional to manage the movement of goods within our bustling warehouse. This position is critical to our logistics network, ensuring that materials are handled with care and transported efficiently. You'll be responsible for operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, free from obstructions.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Verify counts and product conditions during transit.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required by company policy and job duties.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Strong understanding of Safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and following all Safety protocols.
