Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to enhance our logistics operations in Columbus, Ohio. This position is essential for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for the safe and proficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to designated locations, and ensuring accurate placement of stock. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety; all operators must strictly adhere to safety guidelines, conduct daily equipment checks, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires precision, reliability, and a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures. While forklift operation is the primary focus, flexibility to assist with other warehouse tasks, which may include lifting, is also valued. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move inventory.
  • Load and unload goods from various transport vehicles.
  • Transport materials to and from storage areas.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and accuracy checks.
  • Strictly follow all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Support other warehouse operations as needed.

Requirements:
  • Certified and experienced Forklift Operator.
  • Proven ability to operate forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and logistics best practices.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to PPE regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
