We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Ensuring a safe and clean working environment is paramount, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Physical stamina is essential, as this role involves significant standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
