About
We are seeking a proactive Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is critical, and we require all associates to adhere to strict Safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Experience with warehouse equipment and a basic understanding of logistics are advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying contents.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the distribution center.
- Follow all company Safety policies and wear mandatory PPE.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain processes.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to handle consistent Lifting and stand for long periods.
- Proficiency with basic warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of logistics best practices.
- Dedication to Safety and proper use of PPE.
